Traveling the world is something so many of us dream of doing, yet the thought of going it alone can feel overwhelming. Some people are single and don’t want to travel with a group of strangers. Others may be married, but their spouse doesn’t share the same passion for travel or yoga. For women especially, the idea of exploring a faraway country alone can feel daunting.
That’s where a retreat comes in. Retreats provide a safe, welcoming space to journey alongside like-minded people. You’ll never be just a face in a crowd — our groups are intentionally small, designed for connection, shared experience, and a sense of community.
On a retreat, everything is planned for you. No need to search for the best hotels, restaurants, or excursions — we’ve already taken the time to choose experiences that will both inspire and nourish you. All you have to do is show up with an open heart and mind.
Many people return again and again, traveling with the same retreat community over multiple years. In that way, friendships are deepened and new “retreat families” are formed. People are often more open in this setting, willing to share stories, laughter, and even vulnerabilities. Over shared meals, long walks, or quiet moments in practice, you discover not only more about yourself but also how much we all have in common.
Who Are These Retreats For?
Solo travelers who want the freedom of traveling without the stress of doing it all alone.
Women who want the safety and support of a trusted group.
Couples where one partner loves yoga or travel while the other doesn’t — no guilt required.
Busy professionals who don’t have time to plan every detail.
People craving community and genuine connections.
Those new to international travel who want a guided, stress-free experience.
Seasoned travelers looking for something more intentional and transformative.
Yoga practitioners ready to go beyond “yoga as exercise” and use the practice as grounding while exploring new surroundings.
Seekers and lifelong learners curious about spirituality and other cultures.
Anyone ready for awe.
What Makes These Retreats Unique
Yes, we practice yoga daily — but not just for exercise or relaxation. Yoga becomes our anchor, a way of grounding as we immerse ourselves in a new environment. It helps us process what we’re seeing and experiencing, tuning in to how it lands in our bodies, minds, and hearts.
We also take time for reflection and sharing, often over meals, where some of the most meaningful conversations happen.
And perhaps most importantly, we seek cultural immersion. For me, choosing a destination is about more than just beauty (though that matters, too). The places we visit must inspire awe, but they also offer opportunities to learn from local traditions, especially those rooted in spirituality. Experiencing the way others live is humbling. It reminds us that our way is not the only way — and that people everywhere are smart, funny, kind, and welcoming.
Why Travel With Me
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve partnered with a retreat travel company to expand our offerings beyond India. Over the years I’ve built a trusted network in India, which allows me to curate truly unique and meaningful experiences there. I decided to consult with travel experts to help me select other awe-inspiring destinations around the world. I will continue to offer my beloved retreats to India— but I also wanted to create opportunities for different kinds of journeys: some closer to home, and some to entirely new parts of the world. Let’s explore together!
These retreats aren’t just about travel. They’re about connection — with yourself, with others, and with the world. Stay tuned — I’ll soon be sharing details and a special early bird offer for our next trip. Are you ready?
